Eco-Warriors 2018-2019

At Uxendon Manor Primary School, we care about the environment around us and encourage everyone to be as eco-friendly as possible.

The Eco-Warriors have an active role in our school. They meet regularly with Miss Addari to discuss issues and try to find ways to encourage eco-friendly habits for the future. They will also be active members of the local community, taking part in various events including litter picking and bulb planting in Woodcock Park.

On Friday 22nd March 2019, our wonderful team of Eco Warriors took part in a campaign that is encouraging people across the UK to Keep Britain Tidy. The children spent an hour collecting rubbish in Woodcock Park alongside other local schools and members of the local community. The children had an amazing time and there was a real sense of community spirit.
