MBE Award - Ms Vekaria
Congratulations to Ms Vekaria who was awarded with
an MBE by Prince Charles on Thursday 4th April 2019 in recognition of her outstanding services to Primary Education.
Ms Vekaria receives her MBE award from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
Ms Vekaria thoroughly deserves this national recognition for all the excellent work she has done and continues to do. The staff and pupils at Uxendon Manor School are extremely proud of all her achievements!
To celebrate our fantastic Deputy Headteacher, all the staff and pupils at Uxendon held a 'British Values' week where we were involved in dressing up as royalty, learning the National Anthem, indulging in a delicious afternoon tea and having a week of British Menus for our lunches!

To top off an unforgettable week of celebrations, all the children and staff at Uxendon were gifted with a commemorative mug to mark the occasion, designed by Ms Vekaria.
