Maths

Monday 13th July 2020

This week your child will be revisiting counting in 2's, 5's and 10's.

This will help them with a number of mathematical concepts. The more confident your child becomes with learning how to count in these groups, the better they will perform in calculations. These include:

  1. Helping them understand patterns in numbers thus improving their problem-solving skills.
  2. Helping them to learn their times tables
  3. Counting in 2s helps them to understand the concept of odd and even numbers
  4. Provides them with a better understanding of the concept of more than.
