Christmas @ Uxendon

This year, we feel that spreading positivity and joy (especially) during this season has been of the upmost importance. Throughout December, our staff have collaborated with Santa and his Elves, to organise a number of enriching experiences - that have been thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Mischief Elves

Over the past few weeks, mischeivious elves have been propping up all over the school. These cheeky creatures have worked their magic at night, and have left some of our classrooms in a bit of a mess. Please watch the below video to see what they've been up to.

Despite their cheeky nature, we have discovered that these elves are actually lovely, kind and have now seen the error of their ways. So before leaving our school (to head back to the North Pole), they left some gifts for some deserving children.

Well done to the following children, who the elves nominated for a super special gift!

Santa and his reindeer

On Tuesday 8th December, we had some special visitors come and enjoy Christmas Jumper Day with us. Santa & his helpers brought along Dancer and Prancer. The children were able to feed, pet and learn lots about their new reindeer friends.

Did you know that reindeers lose their antlers every year and then grow them back, in exactly the same pattern (it's like their finger print).

Special Christmas Performance - Violins

Some of our talented Year 6 violinists played some wonderful Christmassy music for us, during our last assembly.

12 Days of Christmas

During the Summer term, our staff created a video to spread some positivity to our community and was thrilled with the responses, that it received (this video can be found at the bottom of this page).

To continue this growing tradition, we have put together a little song for the Uxendon Community as a thank you for your continued support during this time.
